Industrial oil filtration

Industrial Oil Filtration Equipment

Industrial Oil Filtration Equipment & Systems

The industrial oil purification machine cleans the polluted particles and impurities without removing the additives from the oils. If the oil filter is not used, the performance of the system parts will decrease and over time it will cause the machines to stop working, While using the right filter, the life of industrial machines will increase.

How does the industrial oil filtration work?

Hydraulic systems need oil to lubricate the bearings, shafts, and gears. On the other hand, there are many impurities such as dust and water in the oil, which can damage the systems if they get inside the pumps and rollers of bearings and gears. Industrial oil filters remove all these polluted particles and impurities from industrial oils without removing additives.

The advantage of using an industrial oil filtration

Impurities in the oil cause erosion and after a short period, these particles deposit in the system and cause small cracks and finally a deep fracture in the device. If the oil filter is not used, the performance quality of the system parts will intensity decrease and with the passage of time it causes the machines to stop working, while using a suitable industrial oil filtration the life of the machines and parts increases and makes it easier to maintain.

Types of industrial oil filtration

There are different types of industrial oil filters which differs from each other and cannot be used in every device. Different types of industrial oil filters are mechanical filters, cartridge filters, and magnetic filters. In the following, we will give you more information about each of them.

  • Mechanical filter

absorbs large contaminants such as cotton, paper, and other wastes using special paper screens. This filter loses its properties over time and needs to be replaced. It can be said that mechanical filters are the cheapest type of filters

  • Cartridge oil filter

is placed directly in front of the oil and with its plates it prevents the contamination of small and large particles. Usually, these filters are placed near the power sources and perform filtering from there. The price of these filters is higher than mechanical filters.

  • Magnetic filters

usually work with a magnetic field that is used to capture ferromagnetic particles. One of the advantages of magnetic filters is that if it gets clogged, you just need to remove the magnet to continue working.

Application of industrial oil filtration

Industrial oil filtration is usually used for special devices that use diesel engines and produce a lot of pollution. These filters are made of different components, the shell, micro filter, and insulating filters are the most important types of these components. We mention some applications of industrial oil filtration as well:

  • Removing polluting particles and bringing the oil to a clean level
  • Suitable for refining new and used oil
  • Preventing damage to the system due to the use of contaminated oil
  • Degassing or degasification
  • change in humidity
