INVEX Used Oil Re-refining Plant

Revolutionizing Machinery Maintenance & Efficiency

At INVEXOIL, we specialize in the used oil re-refining process, utilizing advanced thin film evaporation technology to recycle and re-refine waste oil. Our “used oil refinery plant” is designed to conserve resources, protect the environment, and produce high-quality base oil products.

Features & Advantages of INVEX Used Oil Re-Refinery Plants

Advanced Thin Film Technology: This process starts with pre-treatment to remove impurities such as water, suspended particles, and light gases. The oil is then processed through thin film distillation units. These units create a thin layer of oil on heated surfaces under high vacuum conditions, allowing distillation at lower temperatures, which preserves valuable oil components.

Customizable Capacities: Invexoil designs and manufactures refinery plants in a wide range of capacities, from small-scale operations to high-capacity plants producing tens of tons per day, based on customer requirements and site conditions.

End Products:

  • Base Oils (SN150, SN350, and SN500): High-quality oils meet international standards.
  • Distillate Fuels: Suitable for various industrial applications.
  • Bituminous Residues: Ideal for asphalt and bitumen production industries.

High Efficiency and Energy Optimization: Invexoil plants incorporate advanced energy-saving systems, reducing operational costs while maximizing productivity.

Advanced Oil Polishing System: To enhance the final oil quality, the plants include an advanced polishing system. This system improves oxidation stability, color, and odor indices using reusable adsorbents with long life spans and reactivation capabilities, ensuring continuous and efficient operation.

Expertise and Experience: Invexoil’s engineering team brings years of experience in designing and manufacturing industrial plants, ensuring optimal performance and quality.

Tailored Solutions: Re-refinery plants are designed and customized according to the unique requirements of each client.

Comprehensive Support: Invexoil offers full technical support and maintenance services to ensure the long-term efficiency and reliability of its equipment.

Environmental Sustainability: By minimizing hazardous waste and enabling the reuse of resources, Invexoil’s technology significantly reduces environmental impact.

A thin film evaporator is a cylindrical shell enclosed in a heating jacket. It is equipped with an internal rotor that distributes a thin layer of oil on the heating wall using rotating blades. This rotor, which is electrically driven causes high turbulence and back mixing in the thin layer of the oil film and avoids product degradation at high temperatures.

Thin Film Evaporator Features:

Short residence time and high turbulence in the thin film improve the heat transfer coefficient and avoid overheating, oil cracking, and fouling. High evaporation rate obtained by a simple pass High oil yield is achieved without degradation or polymerization of heat sensitive material High onstream factor and easy maintenance.

Boiling Point:

The boiling point of a substance is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the environmental pressure surrounding the liquid. (water boils at 70 C at Everest peak). At greater heights, there is less air above you, and hence pressure decreases. Lesser pressure hence lower boiling point as you go higher. In a medium vacuum, the free path (average distance traveled by a moving particle such as an atom, molecule, or photon) between successive impacts is less than 0.1 mm, and gas flow is defined by viscous flow equations. But in a high vacuum, this free path is considerably increased, and then Knudsen diffusion equations are applied.

Our Expertise:

Having expertise in designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning used lube oil re-refining systems, high vacuum distillation, thin film technology, and solvent extraction systems ensures consistent product quality and plant safety.

Application:

This technology is applied where products are heat sensitive, viscous, tend to foul heated surfaces, or have high boiling points. Our advanced vacuum systems which can provide high vacuum level stability, low-pressure drops, and high efficiency important factors for designing re-refining systems.

Medium vacuum: Pressure between 1000 mbar and 1 mbar.

Low vacuum: Pressure between 1 mbar and 0/001.

Harmful gases: Produced gases are separated by a water scrubber and active carbon absorbent filter.
